Just before Thanksgiving, I took a trip over to Portugal with my team at Automattic. While most of our time there was spent hacking away at a cool, new project and chatting a lot about themes, we did manage to squeeze in a bit of time for some exploring.
This was only my second trip to Europe. I went to England just a couple months before, for my first trip.
I really enjoyed Portugal, it was very unlike anywhere I’ve ever visited. While walking around, I noticed all (or at least most) of the sidewalks were cobblestone. Much like England, the buildings and architecture were very old, giving the city a lot of personality. Everything was open quite late and there were tons of cute little cafes serving delicious espresso, all around. I even found a little cafe down the street that served all Nutella-based treats (which I went to every day, after I found it)!
